I woke up so cold this morning. We don’t have heat or hot water until Monday, because the gas company refuses to hook anything up in less than seven days. It burns calories, I guess.
Michael and I had a talk and agreed that we pretty much stopped losing weight because we are so happy and comfortable. And then we got even more comfortable, so we started gaining. But we’re working on it again, and at least we have fairly happy body images (at least until it’s beach season).
I’ve taken up intermittent fasting (IF) recently, and it really is nice. You basically don’t eat all day until a certain point in the day, say 5 o’clock, and you do this 2-3 times a week. It is a strange thing, but when I fast intentionally, I don’t get all the tiredness and headaches that I’d get if I just didn’t eat. Mind over matter, I guess.
I had some low carb cornbread this week, and it was so good that it almost made me sad–don’t ask me why. The fridge is loaded up with veggies, and I really need to eat them at least twice daily.
Anyway, I’m rebooting this blog now that I have significantly more than seventy left to lose. But who cares about that number, really. It’ll all come off with time and a little determination.
