Food:
- 3 cups of coffee, half-and-half
- cup of blueberries
- broccoli and cauliflower, pepper jack, small slice of butter
- creamed spinach, chicken salad
- handful of blueberries, 5 small strawberries
- 3 korean cut ribs
Exercise:
- Errands all day
So I woke up today only to find that the strange pain in my foot was the beginnings of gout. I’ve had it before, so I figure I am predisposed, but it still sucks. I haven’t been eating enough vegetables, and I know that’s why it started. I ate some blueberries to counteract it (they’re nature’s anti-imflammiatory), and I’m reducing the meats for a while. Dairy protein/fat doesn’t affect gout so much, so I will live on cheese, eggs and vegetable for the rest of the week. No biggie and lots of water.
I have to exercise tomorrow. And no more strawberries… they made my stomach hurt. That and they aren’t on plan.
